The Garden District (Deva Giselle)
The letter she had penned off towards Kaeso would arrive in two days. What would be his reaction she wondered. Word had already reached her that the lumber company she had hired to clear the timber and collect the profits from the sale of the wood had no probably what so ever in moving onto the Toll Road and helping to clear a path. Torrin Graves, the good man that he is, lend his support and when the profits came in, she would happily devy up a share to give him for his cooperation. He deserved that much at least.
There was some public unrest in the East section of the Garden District. She had no idea what had led to this sudden revolt down there, but The South Avenue of Coins were pushing their way over the garden walls and into her District and bringing their snotty uppity attitudes with them. Something she didn't appreciate, at all. Her artsy neighbors were already talking about challenging back, but she was doing her best to calm them and offer encouragement for talks and discussions. Something the Artistic peoples of the Garden District would normally aspire to, but for some reason..were not very intent on following through this time.
